Assistant Professor at the Department of Diabetes, Endocrinology, Nutritional Medicine, and Metabolism (UDEM) at Inselspital/University Bern, and leader of the PrecisionLab. Before joining UDEM, Prof. García-Tirado was at the University of Virginia’s Center for Diabetes Technology, where he advanced novel fully automated insulin delivery systems. His research focuses on mechanistic and data-driven models to refine next-generation insulin therapies.
